Literacy Door County, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization that depends on volunteers, donations from individuals, foundations, corporations and businesses. We are an exclusively volunteer organization which means that all the tax-deductible funds donated to us are used for our students, tutors, resource materials and trainings.

Annually we run a fundraising letter campaign, Giving While You're Living. This concept of giving offers you the opportunity to see how your gift is working in our community. We have seen some positive results from this effort in both donations and in raising awareness of our programs and goals in the community.
