Literacy Tutor Training Workshops
LDC, Inc. routinely organizes tutor training workshops at Hope Church, in Sturgeon Bay, usually from 4:00- 6:00 or at a time agreed upon by the participants and the trainers. These workshops are led by qualified tutor trainers and mentors that introduce the participants to research-based practices for successful language-learning.

Literacy Tutor Round Tables
LDC, Inc. holds monthly tutor round tables at Hope Church, in Sturgeon Bay, on the first Thursday of every month from 4:00- 6:00. Tutors are encouraged to drop by and stay as long as they are able. These sessions have proven extremely useful in keeping the tutors informed about methodology, upcoming events and any issues of relevance to the community we serve. They are also a great time to share experiences and an important motivational tool for all.

FACTS!
1. The LDC, Inc. is a registered federal non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We are also registered with the State of Wisconsin to accept donations.
2. We annually initiate our fundraising letter campaign, Giving While You're Living. This concept of giving offers you the opportunity to see how your gift is working in our community. We have seen some positive results from this effort in both donations and in raising awareness of our programs and goals in the community.
3.We have an organized library which is currently housed in a small corner of
Hope Church.
4. During the year our Board of Directors continually establishes links with organizations that serve the same sector of our community to better serve our students.
We would like to thank all the individuals and organizations that have helped us and encouraged us in this journey.
